Harry’s story

From one set of monkey bars to the top of the world.

Harry’s journey began at six years old with a simple challenge: make it across the monkey bars. Obstacle racing became the place where his confidence, determination and ability came alive.

Eight years later, he has won world titles in the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Sweden and China—while balancing school, training and life as an ordinary teenager from Colchester.

Meet Harry

The athlete behind the results.

Harry is still at school, still developing, and already competing successfully around the world.

Obstacle racing has taken him from local events in Essex to world championships across Europe, the Americas and Asia. The aim is not simply to collect medals. It is to keep getting faster, stronger and technically better while taking on the toughest competition available.

His 2027 focus is the next step: older and adult competition, international OCR racing, Spartan events and continued development as a British athlete.

On a 6.3 km mountain course with 32 obstacles, Harry won the Elite Male 13–14 Spartan Kids World Championship in 46:11—finishing 2:28 ahead of the defending champion.
