The race

The championship course climbed high into the mountains above Chongli before turning into a relentless sequence of technical Spartan obstacles. Harry managed the long climb, moved into the lead, and stayed composed through the rig work, carries, water and spear throws.

One of the biggest moments came at Spear Throw 2.0. Harry missed and had to complete the penalty loop, not knowing whether the athlete chasing him had hit. He returned still in front and drove on to take the world title.
